Constellation is currently seeking highly motivated students for a Spring internship with our Public Policy Team based in Austin, TX. This internship will run approximately January through May 2027.

This position will provide support to the State Government Affairs (SGA) South (Austin, Texas) group with a focus on business operations and office functionality; state and local regulatory and legislative support activities; assisting SGA team with legislative electronic bill-tracking/analysis in multiple states; monitoring legislative committee and regulatory hearing schedules; attending and reporting on legislative committee action; providing administrative or research support for Constellation’s business development opportunities; interfacing with Constellation SGA, contractors, and other Constellation personnel throughout the organization; supporting Constellation-sponsored events for elected officials and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's program in Political Science, Business, Communications, Marketing, History, Public Policy, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.

  • Minimum GPA: 2.8 Cumulative / 3.0 Major

  • A track record of outstanding academic performance.

  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment.

  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
