Salary: 200k
My client is looking for a Senior Project Manager within our Project Development and Environment team who will act as the lead on major transportation and roadway projects throughout South Florida. This person will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, working directly with clients, coordinating engineers and other disciplines, keeping projects on schedule and within budget, and making sure all work meets FDOT and environmental requirements. A large part of the role is overseeing PD&E studies, helping move projects through the planning and approval process, reviewing technical work, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients. They will also help grow the business by maintaining client relationships, pursuing new project opportunities, assisting with proposals and presentations, and mentoring junior team members. Overall, this is a leadership role for someone who enjoys managing complex transportation projects while serving as the main point of contact for both clients and internal teams.
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years of civil engineering experience.
- Project management experience on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Strong knowledge of the project development process and NEPA.
- Experience with environmental and public involvement requirements for PD&E studies.
- Knowledge of FDOT, AASHTO, and municipal design standards. Familiarity with roadway design, traffic analysis, drainage, MOT, signing & pavement markings, and coordination of disciplines such as utilities, lighting, structures, signalization, ITS, and tolling
