Data Entry Clerk
Adecco is hiring immediately for Data Entry Clerks in South Burlington, VT! Join a growing team in a fast-paced production and office environment. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity offering a consistent schedule, competitive pay, and the opportunity to support critical business operations through accurate data management.
Position: Data Entry Clerk
Location: South Burlington, VT
Pay Rate: $ 20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Summary
As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for entering, updating, verifying, and maintaining information within company databases and systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently while meeting productivity goals. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with computers and large volumes of information.
Key Responsibilities

Enter, update, and maintain information in company databases and software systems.

Review documents and records for accuracy and completeness before data entry.

Verify and correct data discrepancies as needed.

Process and maintain production, inventory, shipping, and operational records.

Scan, file, and organize electronic and paper documents.

Generate reports and assist with data tracking activities.

Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information.

Respond to requests for information and assist with record retrieval.

Follow established procedures and quality standards to ensure accurate data entry.

Meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.

Communicate any system, data, or processing issues to supervisors.

Assist with administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Previous data entry, administrative, customer service, or office experience preferred.

Strong typing and keyboarding skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.

Ability to perform repetitive keyboard and mouse activities.

Occasional lifting of files, documents, or office supplies up to 25 pounds.

Ability to work in a fast-paced office or manufacturing support environment.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
