Responsibilities

Under the Chief Accounting Officer, this position completes and analyzes financial and statistical reporting and in support of all aspects of Company’s financial audit. This position ensures timely and accurate financial information and reporting, preparation of MD&A, research of GAAP related subjects and related activities.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting or Finance.2. At least 10 years of accounting / finance experience - required At least 5 years of experience in managerial role. 3. Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare full set of GAAP consolidated financial statements, footnotes and MD&A.4. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statement risks and internal controls over financial reporting.5. Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with executive leadership.6. Proficient with performing technical accounting research and drafting memorandums analyzing the application of accounting guidance.7. Certified Public Accountant or MBA - required

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Hospital/healthcare experience is highly preferred.2. Public accounting (audit) experience (Big 4 accounting firm preferred), 10Q/K reporting experience, SOX compliance experienced, and strong knowledge of GAAP – Highly Preferred3. Proficient in Windows based PC and business software applications, i.e., Microsoft Excel and Word Preferred4. Working knowledge of ERP Software preferred

Prime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $149,760.00 to $218,046.40 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
