Gunnisonville Meadows Assisted Living Location: Lansing, Michigan Position: Part-Time -- Weekends Pay: $15.50 per hour Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays ### Position Summary Gunnisonville Meadows Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Weekend Activities Assistant to help create a fun, engaging, and meaningful environment for our senior residents. ### Responsibilities - Organize and lead recreational activities, games, crafts, music, and social events. - Encourage resident participation and social interaction. - Provide one-on-one activities and companionship. - Adapt activities to meet residents' physical and cognitive abilities. - Assist with special events and celebrations. - Maintain a safe, positive, and welcoming environment. - Collaborate with caregivers to support resident well-being. ### Qualifications - Experience working with seniors preferred. - Creative, friendly, patient, and enthusiastic. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and engage residents. - Reliable and available to work weekends. - Must meet applicable background screening requirements.
