Production Manager – 3rd Shift
Location: Palatka, FL
Schedule: Thursday–Sunday | 5:00 AM–5:00 PM
Lead Operations. Drive Performance. Build a Strong Team.
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead multiple production areas across a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on improving throughput, efficiency, safety, quality, and team performance .
The ideal candidate is a strategic and motivated leader who can navigate complex manufacturing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop teams to consistently achieve high standards.
What You'll Do

Lead and oversee multiple production departments, ensuring safe and efficient daily operations.

Manage labor, workflow, and resources to maximize throughput, productivity, and efficiency .

Partner with Production Scheduling to understand production demands, identify gaps, and develop solutions.

Ensure teams follow established fabrication plans while identifying opportunities to improve processes.

Drive Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout assigned areas.

Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, area leads, and production employees.

Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and develop new team members.

Establish clear expectations and hold employees accountable for performance.

Work closely with HR on employee relations, performance issues, and company policies.

Maintain required production and project documentation.

Engage employees and encourage their input to solve problems and improve operations.

Promote a strong safety-first culture by identifying and correcting unsafe behaviors.

Ensure EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines are consistently followed.

Monitor and coach employees on safety performance and compliance.
What We're Looking For
-
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.

Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Experience with production, operations, or manufacturing management.

Ability to manage labor, schedules, productivity, and competing priorities.

Strong understanding of operational and business fundamentals.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Highly organized, analytical, and results-driven.

Proven ability to motivate teams and drive continuous improvement.
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
