Electrical EngineerDesign. Lead. Grow.

We're looking for an Electrical Engineer who wants more than just production work. In this role, you'll take ownership of electrical system design from concept through construction, collaborate directly with clients and project teams, and play a key role in shaping projects across a variety of markets. What You'll Do

  • Lead the design of electrical building systems from initial concept through construction administration.

  • Develop lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for commercial and industrial projects.

  • Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, construction documents, and detailed design packages using Revit and AutoCAD.

  • Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, panel scheduling, and system coordination.

  • Conduct site visits, field investigations, and existing facility assessments.

  • Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs while supporting construction teams throughout project execution.

  • Work closely with architects, mechanical and plumbing engineers, owners, and contractors to deliver successful projects.

  • Participate in quality assurance reviews and multidisciplinary coordination efforts.

  • Mentor junior designers and engineers while helping elevate technical standards across the team.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, budget, and schedule expectations.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience designing MEP building systems.

  • Strong experience with Revit and AutoCAD.

  • Understanding of electrical distribution systems, lighting design, fire alarm systems, and applicable codes (NEC, NFPA, etc.).

  • Ability to independently produce complete electrical design packages including plans, one-lines, and panel schedules.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience with sustainable design or renewable energy projects.

  • EIT certification or a path toward PE licensure.

  • A passion for continuous improvement and solving complex engineering challenges.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
