Pediatric Infusion RN – Wednesdays | 8 AM – 4 PM

BrightStar Care of Carlsbad | Camp Pendleton, CA Ongoing Weekly Pediatric Infusion Case! BrightStar Care of Carlsbad is seeking an experienced, compassionate Pediatric Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) for an ongoing in-home infusion case located on Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base. This position offers a consistent Wednesday schedule (8 AM–4 PM), with the potential for additional per diem nursing assignments based on your availability and our patient needs. This is a great opportunity for an RN with strong pediatric infusion skills and experience accessing and managing implanted ports who enjoys providing meaningful, personalized care in the home setting! Schedule & Location * Every Wednesday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM * Location: Camp Pendleton, CA * Ongoing, consistent weekly pediatric infusion assignment * Military base/gate access is helpful but NOT required * Additional per diem nursing opportunities may be available throughout North County San Diego! While our immediate priority is filling this Wednesday pediatric infusion case, we'd love to connect with nurses who have additional availability and are interested in other assignments as well! What You'll Be Doing * Providing pediatric infusion care in the patient's home * Preparing and administering prescribed IV infusion therapy * Accessing and managing implanted ports and CVADs * Assessing and monitoring the patient before, during, and after infusion treatments * Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation * Communicating with the patient's family and BrightStar Care clinical team * Following all infection control, safety, and nursing protocols What We're Looking For: Clinical Qualifications * Current, unrestricted California RN license * Minimum 1 year of pediatric infusion nursing experience required * Strong IV skills and hands-on experience accessing and managing implanted ports/CVADs * Experience with medication preparation, reconstitution, and IV administration * Minimum 2 years of overall nursing experience preferred * Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and patient care skills Additional Requirements * Reliable availability every Wednesday from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM * Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation * Current BLS certification * Current TB and physical clearance Why Nurses Love Working with BrightStar Care * Competitive weekly pay with direct deposit * Meaningful one-on-one patient care * Supportive RN Nursing Director and clinical team available 24/7 * Paid training opportunities * Employee recognition, appreciation programs, and bonus opportunities * Flexible per diem nursing assignments throughout North County San Diego * Opportunity to work with a compassionate, respected, and locally loved care team Join an Award-Winning Team!
