Senior Supplier Development Manager | Lean Six Sigma | APQP/PPAP | 4 month contract

Our client, a global leader in advanced manufacturing and industrial solutions , is seeking a Senior Supplier Development Manager to join their team in Milwaukee, WI. As a Senior Supplier Development Manager, you will be part of the Supply Chain and Operations organization, supporting Supplier Quality, Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and outstanding stakeholder management experience that will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range: $59.26 - $79.00 per hour

Schedule: First Shift

Workplace Type: Onsite

Travel: 50%+ Domestic & International

Contract Duration: Through February 2027

What's the Job?

• Lead supplier performance improvement initiatives across quality, delivery, capacity, scalability, and sustainability.

• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives to improve supplier operational performance.

• Manage supplier readiness activities for new product launches, including APQP, PPAP, and process validation.

• Conduct supplier audits, capability assessments, capacity reviews, and risk mitigation activities.

• Lead supplier recovery efforts, root cause analysis, and cross-functional continuous improvement projects.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in Supplier Development, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, Plant Quality, or Supply Chain.

• Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, supplier audits, and capacity analysis.

• Proven track record of improving supplier performance, quality metrics, and delivery reliability.

• Ability to travel 50%+ domestically and internationally while collaborating effectively in global, cross-functional environments.
