Full job description
Our client, a food manufacturing organization, is seeking a Quality Assurance Representative to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Representative, you will be part of the Quality Assurance function supporting production and sanitation teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to food safety, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced manufacturing environment—helping ensure products meet quality and regulatory standards throughout production.
Job Title: Quality Assurance Representative
Location: Denver, PA
Pay Range: $21
Shift: 7:30AM-4PM (Monday-Friday)
What's the Job?

Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to support consistent product quality.

Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards, including GMPs, HACCP, and FSMA.

Conduct inspections of equipment, production lines, and sanitation practices to verify procedures are followed.

Document and report quality issues, deviations, and corrective actions, maintaining accurate records and required documentation.

Assist with internal audits and support third-party inspections, including collecting samples for laboratory testing as required.
What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, or a related field preferred.

Knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, FSMA) is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify issues and support corrective actions.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and data entry systems) and ability to stand for extended periods in production environments (cold, wet, or noisy conditions).
