Bilingual HR Representative (Spanish)

Location: Gaylord, MN

Pay: $25-$27/hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite

Duration: 12-Week Contract (Leave of Absence Coverage)

Language Requirement: Bilingual English/Spanish Required

Position Overview

We are seeking a Bilingual HR Representative to support a busy Human Resources team in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for a broad range of HR functions including leave administration, benefits support, employee engagement initiatives, recruitment assistance, and general HR administration. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and committed to maintaining confidentiality while providing excellent employee support.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and administer FMLA and Leave of Absence programs.

Manage administrative processes related to attendance tracking and reporting.

Support employee benefits enrollment for new hires, annual open enrollment, and qualifying life events.

Organize employee recognition programs, events, and engagement activities.

Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding efforts.

Provide administrative support including answering phones, filing, copying, and document management.

Offer backup support for payroll-related functions as needed.

Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, policies, and employment matters.

Interpret and translate company communications and documents in both English and Spanish.

Maintain HR records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee information.

Support additional HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

1-2 years of FMLA and Leave of Absence administration experience preferred.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information.

Experience presenting or facilitating training sessions is a plus.

Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Preferred Experience

Prior HR experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.

Experience supporting payroll and benefits administration.

Ability to effectively communicate with employees across all levels of the organization.
