Full job description

Anytime Fitness – Lavon, TX About the Role Anytime Fitness Lavon is a brand-new club currently under construction, with a target opening in December 2026. Because construction timelines can shift, we need someone who is flexible with the exact start date. This is a unique opportunity to help build the personal training program from the ground up — grow a client base from day one, build group training participation, and help shape the culture of the club. We are looking for an outgoing, energetic trainer who loves working with people, builds relationships easily, and enjoys both one-on-one coaching and high-energy group training. This is also a sales-focused, hands-on club role. You must be comfortable recommending and selling training services, following up with prospects, signing up new members, answering membership questions, helping members, and pitching in with cleaning and general club operations. What You'll Do * Deliver one-on-one personal training * Lead small-group training, including AF Strong and AF HIIT * Conduct fitness consultations and body composition scans * Recommend and sell personal training, group training, and nutrition services * Follow up with prospective clients and help sign up new members * Build strong member relationships and provide accountability * Track progress and adjust programs as needed * Help keep the club clean, organized, and welcoming * Assist with day-to-day club operations and member needs What We're Looking For * Minimum 1 year of personal training experience required; 2+ years preferred * Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification * NASM or ISSA preferred * CPR/AED certified or willing to become certified * Previous sales experience required * Group training experience strongly preferred * Nutrition certification is a plus * Strong communication and people skills * Confident, energetic, and comfortable approaching members and prospects * Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to help wherever needed * Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends * Flexibility with start date due to construction Compensation * $18/hour for floor coverage and general club responsibilities * $30/hour for personal training and group training sessions * 15% commission on group training revenue * Additional commission and performance incentive opportunities If you love people, love coaching, aren't afraid to sell, and are excited about building something from the ground up, we'd love to hear from you.
