Full job description
The Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries will be accepting applications andconducting interviews for peanut season employment in Escambia County , in particular Huxford, McCullough and Flomaton areas. No experience or education minimum required for the Laborer/Sampler positions. The work is seasonal and consists of sampling, grading and assisting in the grading of peanuts during the harvest season as they arrive at buying points throughout south Alabama. Laborer/Samplers earn $14.05/hr. and will receive a 2% increase 10/1/26. Applicants must be available to work many hours. Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
