DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated DevOps Engineer to join our team, where you will play a critical role in creating, improving, and maintaining the build and release environment. You will work on tools and processes crucial for the development of both embedded and application software. Your contributions will directly impact the quality, safety, and security of our products.

Responsibilities

• Create, improve, and maintain build and release environments, tools, and processes.

• Assess and implement new tools and processes to enhance software development.

• Manage day-to-day tool infrastructure including troubleshooting and problem resolution.

• Participate actively in all aspects of the software development life cycle.

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality products.

• Stay current with state-of-the-art technologies, tools, and techniques.

• Document designs, processes, and procedures.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps or Release Engineering role.

• 2 years of experience with Windows or Linux server administration.

• Experience with embedded software.

• Experience with Azure DevOps and Jira.

• Supporting teams developing embedded software or working within the medical device industry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the medical device industry.

• Proficiency with Azure DevOps for source control, pipelines, and work management.

• Familiarity with Agile project and sprint management.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
