Overview
Schedule: Full-Time, Exempt; Monday-Friday. Flexible hybrid schedule with an expectation of approximately two (2) onsite days per week. Additional onsite days may be required based on operational needs, and onsite schedules are subject to change.
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Clinical & Research Librarian, as sole librarian for CHLA, independently provides individual, team, and group consultation for library services,literature search and review, and evidence-based practice and clinical decision support to CHLA staff and USCfaculty members. Independently plans and delivers education to learner groups across the organization related toliterature search/review and evidence-based practice.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

Extensive knowledge of medical library terminology and methods.

Must have current knowledge of medical developments and scientific literature.

Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. (Written & Verbal)
Preferred:
- 1-year work experience in a Medical library experience.
Education/Licensure/Certification: Master's degree in Library & Information Studies (MLIS) required.
Pay Scale Information
$71,760.00-$71,760.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
