Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Network Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to be a hands on expert working with out existing engineering and networking teams, assisting with network creation, monitoring, data transfer and troubleshooting .

What You'll Be Doing :

  • Architect and deploy enterprise network solutions

  • Lead network upgrades, migrations, and security initiatives

  • Monitor and optimize network performance

  • Develop and enforce network policies and procedures

  • Mentor junior network engineers

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems

  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues

  • Maintain comprehensive network documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI w/ Poly

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 12 years of network engineering experience

  • Expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs

  • Experience with network automation and scripting

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 requirements (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, or equivalent)

  • Advanced certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $148,300.00 - $266,900.00
