Job Summary Supervise employees in the operation, maintenance, and repair of power plant equipment by planning, organizing, and directing the activities required to ensure productivity and safety. Job Responsibilities Manage Employees Drive the performance of employees for both productivity and safety. Plan and conduct safety meetings to communicate safety requirements. Plan and conduct team meetings. Manage work assignments to minimize overtime while maintaining optimal productivity. Coach and counsel employees to achieve optimum performance. Consult with the others as necessary regarding disciplinary issues. Evaluate performance and conduct annual performance reviews with individual represented employees. Work with union stewards to discuss and resolve employee issues and conflicts. Lead safety and team meetings with direct reports to share information and promote safe work practices. Support diversity by actively seeking out and encouraging diversity in perspective and by establishing an environment of inclusion. Manage Work Manage and prioritize assigned work.
