We are seeking an experienced Sprinkler Designer with 3-9 years of experience, particularly in data centers. The ideal candidate will excel in designing and coordinating sprinkler systems using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks. This role requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints and prepare shop drawings and plans that adhere to applicable codes and manufacturer requirements. You will collaborate with local officials, engineers, architects, and customers to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate sprinkler systems using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.

• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

• Prepare shop drawings and plans that comply with applicable codes and manufacturer requirements.

• Collaborate effectively with local officials, engineers, architects, and customers.

Essential Skills

• 3-9 years of experience in sprinkler design, with some experience in data centers.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• NICET level 2 or 3 certification preferred.

• Experience in electrical design is beneficial.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days remote work possible after acclimation (typically 1-6 months). You will work under the guidance of the Sprinkler Design Manager and Vice President. This is a Contract position based out of Hanover, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $52.88/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
