We are currently hiring for an Accounting Manager for our corporate offices in Salt Lake City, UT. In this position, you will serve as an integral part of the accounting team helping perform daily accounting duties, manage internal accounting processes and directly supervise others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage 5-10 individuals daily, including: planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, and resolving problems

  • Hire and oversee training for new accounting staff

  • Handle ongoing accounting duties such as:

  • oversight of monthly close processes;

  • corporate general ledger reconciliations and

  • audit support

  • Coordinate and work with other departments as needed

  • Take lead on assigned projects and act as a resource, as needed

  • Advise accounting management team and contribute to decisions regarding department policies and process

Education and/or Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required with a minimum of five years of accounting experience.

  • Previous management experience is helpful.

  • Firm, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Comfortable working with computers and automated accounting systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred.

  • Attention to detail

  • Highly motivated self-starter

  • Goal-oriented and possesses the ability to prioritize on a consistent basis in an ever-changing environment
