Full job description

This is a professional human resources position responsible for the administration of civil service functions, recruitment, classification, compensation, and other related human resources functions. The work is complex, integrating state, federal and local laws, rules and regulations, labor contracts, and City policies in the decision-making process. The work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Human Resources with considerable leeway allowed for the exercise of independent judgment in analyzing problems and rendering services.
