Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Build and maintain ADO YAML pipelines for applications and infrastructure. Automate Azure environments using Terraform/Bicep. Manage deployments across dev, test, staging, and production. Support App Service, APIM, ADF, Azure SQL, Key Vault, and related Azure services. Add automated testing, security scanning, approvals, and rollback controls into pipelines. Monitor production using Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and KQL. Troubleshoot failed deployments, application issues, and Azure infrastructure problems. Build and test disaster recovery and multi-region failover processes. Partner with developers, security, data, and IT operations. Ensure changes are secure, auditable, repeatable, and compliant.

Skills and Requirements

4+ years hands-on Azure DevOps / Azure platform engineering Strong Azure DevOps (ADO) YAML pipelines, including multi-stage CI/CD and release automation Terraform and/or Bicep for Infrastructure as Code Production experience with Azure App Service and/or API Management (APIM) Strong Git, CI/CD, PowerShell/Python, and Azure CLI Experience supporting production Azure environments, including troubleshooting and incident response Azure Data Factory (ADF) Azure SQL / SQL Server, especially DACPAC or SSDT deployments Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, KQL Multi-region architecture, DR, geo-replication, RPO/RTO, failover Key Vault, Managed Identities, Entra ID/RBAC, Azure Policy SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001 environments Docker, AKS, GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security AZ-400, AZ-104, AZ-305 Healthcare, financial services, insurance, or another regulated industry
