Full job description

Job Description

The Product Analyst, Spark Business Enablement supports the Spark Product team by working directly with Pfizer business units and Digital partners to understand their needs, translate them into clear product requirements, and build prioritized backlogs that inform the evolution of Spark. This role sits at the intersection of product management, business discovery, and requirements definition. The Product Analyst helps ensure that business-unit needs are understood in sufficient depth to identify what should become part of the common Spark product, what requires configurable business-unit capabilities, and what should be addressed outside Spark. Prior hands-on Product Manager experience is required. This role requires someone who understands how to move beyond stakeholder requests to uncover the underlying problem, define outcomes, challenge assumptions, make trade-offs, and translate needs into actionable product work.

Skills and Requirements

Required: Prior experience working as a Product Manager with direct responsibility for product discovery, prioritization, roadmap or backlog decisions, and delivery with engineering teams. Demonstrated experience converting ambiguous stakeholder needs into clear product requirements and actionable backlog items. Experience facilitating discovery sessions and working with senior business and technology stakeholders. Strong understanding of product management practices including problem discovery, jobs to be done, user stories, acceptance criteria, prioritization, MVP definition, and outcome measurement. Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups where requirements compete for limited product capacity. Ability to challenge requested solutions constructively and identify the underlying user or business problem. Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Preferred Experience Experience with enterprise platforms, workflow products, portfolio/demand management, AI-enabled products, or developer platforms. Experience working in a federated or highly matrixed enterprise environment. Familiarity with Aha!, Jira or similar product-management and delivery tooling. Experience supporting products used across multiple business units, markets, or organizational functions.
