Overview
The Director of Estimating is responsible for developing policies for preparing cost estimates for product manufacturing and services.
Responsibilities

Develops policies for preparing cost estimates for product manufacturing and services.

Assesses cost effectiveness of products and services.

Tracks actual costs as the project develops.

Collaborates with leaders from other departments to formulate estimates and resolves issues.

Assess cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentations.
Qualifications
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree.
-
At least 6 years of experience.
-
Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.
-
Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.
-
Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.

Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.
