What You'll Do As a Private Duty Home Care Nurse, you will: * Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in patients' homes * Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring * Administer medications and prescribed treatments * Manage IV infusions and vascular access devices * Provide wound care and dressing changes using evidence-based practices * Perform PEG/G-tube feeding and enteral nutrition management * Provide catheter and ostomy care * Promote patient safety, dignity, comfort, and independence Preferred Clinical Experience Experience with the following is preferred: * IV infusion therapy * Access, maintain, and de-access PICC lines and implanted ports. * Wound care * Tube feeding (PEG/G-tube) * Tracheostomy care * Medication management * Catheter and ostomy care * Home health, private duty, hospice, rehabilitation, long-term care, or acute care Qualifications * Current, active Savannah or South Carolina RN license * PICC and implanted-port access experience required. * Current CPR certification * Strong clinical assessment and communication skills * Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Bluffton and Hilton Head Island service area Schedule & Flexibility * PRN / Per Diem * Flexible scheduling * Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available * Opportunities for additional hours based on patient needs and availability Why Join BrightStar Care? * One-on-one patient care with individualized attention * Flexible schedules that fit your lifestyle * Consistent cases and available hours * Supportive clinical leadership * Case-specific orientation and ongoing training * Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives every day Apply Today Join a team committed to delivering exceptional in-home nursing care and improving the quality of life for every patient we serve.
