Surplus Outlet is a retail grocery store operation based out of Central Pennsylvania. We are looking to hire a Full-Time Department Lead to work in our Northumberland Store. Our stores are open Monday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and closed on Sunday. Job Description& Responsibilities (Other Duties May Be Assigned): 1. The Department Lead will be trained to learn areas of the retail business and guide five to eight associates at a time to execute the daily action plan. 2. Establish a working relationship through excellent communication skills with all team members, supervisors, vendors and customers. 3. Execute merchandising directives. 4. Perform closing duties at the end of the day. Skills Needed: 1. Excellent communication skills 2. Proven leadership qualities and excellent customer service skills 3. Ability to be flexible and willing to adapt to change Compensation: 1. Wages will be based off of experience and abilities.
