Position Summary
The Lead, Pricing Strategy & Planning develops and executes pricing strategies for the Home Segment that support profitable growth, competitive positioning, and brand and channel objectives. The role uses consumer, shopper, market, and financial insights to build price architecture, evaluate base and promotional pricing, and inform new product pricing. This position partners across Revenue Growth Management, Finance, Sales, Brand Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Category Development to convert analysis into practical recommendations, tools, and execution plans.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement pricing strategies and guardrails for assigned Home categories, brands, channels, and customers, consistent with brand positioning and financial objectives.

Analyze syndicated point-of-sale, panel, consumer and shopper, competitive, and internal financial data to identify pricing opportunities, risks, and performance drivers.

Build and maintain price architecture frameworks, including base price, pack-price relationships, channel and customer price relationships, and promotional pricing guidelines.

Partner with Consumer Insights and Brand Marketing to evaluate willingness to pay, perceived value, and pricing options for new products and portfolio changes.

Develop pricing models and scenario analyses; partner with Revenue Growth Management and Finance to assess expected volume, revenue, margin, and return implications.

Translate pricing recommendations into customer plans, innovation launches, and promotional calendars with Sales, Brand Marketing, and Category Development; support customer-facing discussions when appropriate.

Establish key performance indicators and dashboards, monitor execution against approved guardrails, and recommend adjustments when results or market conditions materially change.

Lead defined pricing workstreams and help establish repeatable Revenue Growth Management tools, processes, and ways of working across the Home Segment.

Support demand planning and S&OP by incorporating approved pricing actions and timing into volume, inventory, and financial assumptions.
Key Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

5+ years of relevant experience in pricing strategy, revenue growth management, category planning, finance, consumer insights, or a related discipline, preferably in consumer goods or durable goods.

Working knowledge of price architecture, value-based pricing, new product pricing, promotional pricing, and willingness-to-pay methods.

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including experience with syndicated point-of-sale, panel, market, or customer data and analytical or business intelligence tools.

Strong communication and influencing skills, including the ability to explain pricing logic, assumptions, trade-offs, and recommendations to varied audiences.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, maintain attention to detail, and deliver work through a matrixed, cross-functional organization.

Ability to convert pricing best practices into practical frameworks, processes, tools, and ways of working.
