Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring full-time Line Cooks to join our team at Morimoto Asia in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing dishes according to recipes and chef specifications. What will you do?

• Prepare food according to established portion sizes and quality standards

• Follow department rules, policies, and procedures

• Make sure food reaches and stays at the proper temperatures

• Store food correctly and maintain the freshness and quality of menu items

• Package products according to the restaurant's specifications

• Keep your workstation, coolers, and kitchen equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked

• Follow waste-control procedures and record food waste on the spoilage sheet

• Perform opening duties, closing duties, side work, and end-of-day inventory.Prepare food according to established portion sizes and quality standards

More about you

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a prep cook or line cook

• Ability to prioritize and complete food orders with speed and precision

• Ability to follow procedures and take directions

• Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions

• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

• Lift 50+ pounds

• Reach as high as 7 feet

• Bend and squat

• Stand and walk for the entire shift

• Work in moderate-to-high noise

• Repeatedly chop, mix, blend, and whip foods/liquids

• Operate commercial kitchen equipment
