Requirements:

The small equipment technician at a McDonald's restaurant organization is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing restaurant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

•Perform preventive maintenance on restaurant equipment according to company schedules.

•Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, including :

Grills

Fryers

Toasters

Refrigerators and freezers

ice machine

Beverage and McCafe equipment

HVAC systems

Exhaust Hoods and ventilation systems

Small kitchen appliances and tools

•Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.

•Conduct routine inspections to identify potential maintenance issues before failures occur.

•Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs within skill level and company guidelines

•Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

•Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
