Production Worker, 3rd Shift (machine operator) Location: Carroll, IA (51401)

Pay Range: $19-21
3rd shift - Mon - Fri 10:00pm - 6:00am & some Overtime on wkends
Preferred candidates will have some experience with Machine operations or Assembly in a Manufacturing, Production or similar work environment.

Job Summary/Description:
The purpose of being a Production Worker at this level is to learn and train in the basic understanding of all machine specific operations. Production Workers have the basic ability to set up and operate a variety of machines to produce precision parts with immediate supervision by a certified operator (level II or above). Follow established standard work under immediate supervision in efforts to obtain certification within 120 days. Production Workers follow and comply with established standard work practices under immediate supervision. The Production Worker will typically refer problems or deviations to more experienced operators including Lead Technicians, Supervisors or Engineers.
Primary Responsibilities:

Learn how to set up and operate machinery according to standard work.

Learn how to make machine adjustments
-
Learn how to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

Understand and follow quality testing techniques
-
Learn how to inspect products using precision gauges, measuring instruments and equipment

Demonstrate proficiency in manufacturing documentation and labor transactions.

Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by (EHS) Environmental Health & Safety, Quality, and (CI) Continuous Improvement functions as set by your leader and position.

Actively participates in the Continuous Improvement process as well as safety related activities
SCHEDULE:

Working extended shifts/overtime as required by the business, most overtime is on Saturdays.

Some Holiday hours may be required based on business need

Mon -Fri 3rd shift is 10pm to 6am ; be flexible to start training on 1st or 2nd shift if needed
