\n The Network Engineer will perform all network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks. Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents. Performs general LAN/CAN/WAN administration. Schedules conversions and cutovers. Coordinates with all responsible users and sites to resolve network or system incidents. Translates business requirements into telecommunications (e.g., LAN, CAN, WAN, Voice and Video) requirements, designs and orders. Performs engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives in support of strategic modernization efforts and telecommunications enhancement design for medium and large-scale telecommunication infrastructures. Assists telecommunications end users, telecommunications operations personnel, and telecommunications strategic program management with network interfaces.</span></span> \n

• A\x26nbsp;Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.\x26nbsp;Six (6) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support and training\x26nbsp;commensurate\x26nbsp;with network engineering curriculum.\x26nbsp;\x26nbsp;</span></span></span> \n

\n </span></span></li>\n

• In lieu of a\x26nbsp;Master’s\x26nbsp;degree, a\x26nbsp;Bachelor’s\x26nbsp;degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline and an\x26nbsp;additional\x26nbsp;two (2) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support for a total of eight (8) years.\x26nbsp;</span></span> \n

\n </span></li>\n

• In lieu of a\x26nbsp;Master’s or Bachelor’s degree an additional six (6)\x26nbsp;years experience\x26nbsp;providing Network Engineering support and a Certification in an industry standard (Arista Configuration Essentials, Cisco Certified Network Associate, or Juniper Certification Tracks (Automation \x26amp; DevOps, Cloud, Data Center, Design, Enterprise Routing and Switching, Junos Security, Service Provider Routing and Switching)) may be substituted for a total of 12 years.</span></span> \n

• An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level II baseline certification as defined\x26nbsp;by DoD 8570.01-M is\x26nbsp;required.\x26nbsp;</span></span> \n
