Job Description:
AEGIS Insurance Services, Inc. (“AEGIS”) has an immediate opening for an Operations Senior Analyst who supports the day-to-day operations of accounts payable and accounts receivable and provides service to internal customers and external vendors.
Job Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of accounts payable or accounts receivable experience
-
Undergraduate degree in accounting, business or related field desired
-
Ability to investigate and resolve accounts payable and accounts receivable issues
-
Applied knowledge of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable and payable process flows
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
-
Experience with Workday Financials, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar financial systems a plus

Essential Job Functions:
Operations and Reporting
Accounts Payable:

Monitor daily A/P payment and T&E reimbursement requests for timely and accurate processing and cash settlement, and verify that the requests follow the proper approval flows

Process overflow A/P payment and T&E reimbursement requests and serve as backup

Ensure that internal and external customers are highly satisfied with our service
-
Review supplier invoice and expense journal activity to ensure accurate coding to the general ledger
Accounts Receivable:
-
Monitor daily cash receipts, cash application and unapplied cash
-
Help investigate and research unidentified cash received; troubleshoot more complex scenarios
-
Process overflow A/R activities and serve as backup
-
Review A/R journal activity to ensure accurate coding to the general ledger
-
Ensure that internal and external customers are highly satisfied with our service
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
-
Assist with maintaining procedures for A/P and A/R processes
-
Help test and implement disbursement authority and T&E policy changes in Workday
-
Support research, assessment, testing and implementation of Workday enhancements
-
Look for any other opportunities for business process improvement
-
Support strong control environment with proper segregation of duties
Collaboration and Team Support
- Interact with staff and management of various levels, from various divisions
System Maintenance and Optimization
-
Help identify, investigate, and resolve any issues related to Workday; escalate issues as appropriate
-
Support the testing for Workday new releases and Workday projects, leveraging automated testing available through our testing software

We expect to pay a starting salary between $80,000 and $85,000. An applicant’s placement within this range is based on their individual qualifications and professional experience. In addition to base salary, AEGIS employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s annual incentive program, with competitive awards based on corporate and individual performance.
