Position Summary Tidal Basin is seeking qualified candidates for the Case Manager position supporting our client and applicants impacted by disaster events. The ideal candidate will be the primary point of contact in serving disaster survivors. This position is responsible for assessing survivors’ disaster caused unmet needs and actively assisting in the development of their Recovery Plan.

Qualified candidates will work on-site in Charleston, WV. Job Duties and Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinating required services to address unmet needs and assessing when a case should be recommended f or closure or reopening.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, organizations, and stakeholders.

• Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and forums.

• Develop and implement outreach strategies to promote organizational initiatives.

• Gather and communicate community feedback to internal departments.

• Coordinate and manage community engagement programs and activities.

• Serve as a point of contact for community inquiries, concerns, and suggestions.

• Facilitate open communication between the organization and the community.

• Monitor community trends and issues to inform organizational planning.

• Ensure health and safety guidelines are established and followed.

• Complete required training including safety training.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with community needs.

• Prepare reports on community engagement efforts and outcomes.

Required Education and Experience

• Associate’s degree in social work, public administration, communications, or a related field

• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in publicly facing case management

• Experience compiling and entering data, preferred.

• Experience in event planning and public speaking is a plus.

• Must be able to clear a criminal background check.
