General Laborer / Production Associate

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated and motivated General Laborer / Production Associate to join their team. As a General Laborer / Production Associate, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting various operational tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Laborer / Production Associate

Location: North Charleston, SC

Pay Range: $19

Shift: 2nd Shift 4pm-2:30am, Monday - Thursday, OT as needed

What's the Job?

• Ensure work areas are clean and free of debris and scrap material, placing waste in proper receptacles

• Assist with general production labor needs such as grinding or deburring parts

• Operate punching machines to cut parts out of sheet metal

• Place and organize punch parts onto pallets for efficient workflow

• Move materials using pallet jacks and/or forklifts to designated work areas

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production environment

• Ability to operate machinery such as PEM inserters and punching machines

• Willingness to comply with environmental, safety policies, and regulations

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
