Work hours: 40 hours/week, Monday - Friday, 8 hours/day, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Duties:
Duties include drive and operate farm machinery such as tractors and combines to perform farm activities such as planting, cultivation, harvesting of crops wheat & beans. Workers will drive tractors installed with GPS and operate designated towing equipment, drills, disks, and drags to furrow and prepare the soil, seed and fertilize. They will haul materials, supplies or crops to designated locations. Workers will haul grains, equipment, and input items such as fertilizer, seed, and supplies to storage and stockpiles on the farm or local elevators. All crops and supplies will be the property of the Employer. There will be no commercial hauling.
Routine maintenance will be done on all equipment & grounds. Workers must be able to work independently after being given instructions and must be team players when needed.
Requirements:

Employees have valid driver's license or obtain one in 60 days.

Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls only.

NO TEXTING.

No smoking in equipment, vehicles, housing or grounds.

No drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours and otherwise discouraged.

Must be able to read, understand and speak English for record keeping and safety reasons.

No Educational level is required.

Must have three months of tractor driving installed with GPS and towed implements. Operate and understand GPS and computerized monitors.

As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts (Updated 04/07/2026). Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
