Our client, an industry-leading engineering organization, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting manufacturing and process development teams, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, collaborative spirit, and a passion for continuous improvement, aligning seamlessly with the company's culture of excellence and growth.

Job Title: Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Camarillo, California

Pay Range: $85,000 - $140,000

What's the Job?

  • Develop, design, document, and validate manufacturing equipment and processes, both existing and new, to ensure optimal performance and quality.

  • Analyze product and equipment specifications to determine feasible designs that align with manufacturing capabilities and project goals.

  • Collaborate with research and production teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement modifications for improved reliability and efficiency.

  • Create detailed project plans, including schedules, testing protocols, and documentation to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

  • Provide technical guidance on manufacturing techniques, materials, and process advantages to support long-term plant and product engineering strategies.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar engineering role, with a proven track record of process development and equipment design.

  • Strong proficiency in 2-D and 3-D CAD software for designing and documenting systems and components.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Effective communication skills to convey technical information clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders.
