Grand Forks, ND, USA | Hourly | 23-25 per hour | Part Time

We are looking for a responsible, experienced, self-starter to join our Maintenance Team working 20 hours a week at our apartment community in Grand Forks, ND.
Job requirements include, but are not limited to:

On-Call availability

Pre-employment background check required

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Excellent leadership and organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

2+ years' experience in property maintenance required

Ability to lift at least 50 pounds & ability to stand for extended periods of time

Ability to interact with a wide range if clientele

Ability to complete various maintenance tasks including but not limited to; unit tuns, painting, grounds maintenance, etc.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and safety of the properties that they have been assigned. This position assists in unit turns and preparing units for occupancy. This can include painting, repairs, and cleaning both the interior and exterior of buildings. An excellent candidate will monitor property grounds daily to maintain good condition of property and surrounding areas which can include dumpsters, pet waste areas, parking lots, mailboxes, and common areas - which can include landscaping and/or snow and ice removal. This position will complete paperwork and work orders promptly and will communicate if any supplies or tools will be needed to complete the work order. Additionally, this position will ensure that the work order is entered and completed in AppFolio and work to resolve any outstanding issues. This position will be responsible for the organization of all maintenance tools and supplies - this includes ensuring all tools and supplies are checked out and returned daily. Including additional duties as assigned by the management team.
