This position is ECB status – requires a minimum number of worked hours per month as needed by the department; limited benefit offerings.

Days

Job Summary: Administers nursing care to an assigned group of patients based on physician's orders and Nursing Care Plan. Consults with Registered Nurse to plan patient care. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties including data collection.

Minimum Education: Has completed the prescribed curricula of a practical nursing program or has completed equivalent coursework as approved and verified by a state board of nursing and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or certificate therefrom.

Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nurse License.

Work Experience: 0 - 6 months related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of general disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways. Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner. Ability to be detail oriented as required in the examination of clinical and numerical data.
