The Opportunity
The staff at AttoTude consists of world class team working in a fast-paced and agile environment developing next generation modems for intra-DCI applications. The ASIC Test Technician will work to support engineers in the testing and characterization of high-speed and mixed-signal ICs with measurements needed for the development of novel MODEM technology and product realization. The ideal candidate will be flexible to work either day or swing shift for quick-turn data collection on manual & semi-automatic probe stations spanning from DC to THz frequencies.
Roles and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining manual and semi-automatic probe stations used for measurements for both wafer level and singulated dice. Support test engineers in pre-production volume testing of ASICs as well as DOEs for new measurement methods and metrology. Regular calibration and execution of measurements using automated test sequences and test suites. You will operate test equipment and collect data at frequencies from DC to 1THz.
Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements
- Associate of Arts degree in electronics, engineering technology or equivalent training
- 5+ years of experience in the setup and operation of wafer probe stations
- Perform electrical, wafer-level testing and inspect for surface defects using microscopes or automated inspection tools
- Identify, analyze, and resolve equipment malfunctions or testing anomalies
- Perform routine maintenance on probe stations, including changing probe cards and cleaning equipment
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, wearing specialized protective clothing
- High level of precision in following complex, technical procedures
- Experience in handling, care and maintenance of GSSG and GSG RF probes, with both coaxial and waveguide feeds
- Highly desired: capable of executing calibration techniques like SOLT, TRL and on-wafer calibration
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate information clearly and concisely

Annual Salary Range $80,000 — $120,000 USD
