Full job description
Works under the direct supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Director. Assists in planning and supervising the administration of Respiratory Therapy to the patient upon the physician’s prescription. Performs respiratory procedures to obtain high quality results to ensure the well-being of the patient. Assists others to insure a timely completion of duties, so that patient care is completed in a timely basis. Treats all patients, customers, and coworkers with courtesy and respect to continually show improvement in the service we offer to our co-workers and the communities we serve.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure: • Graduate of a COARC Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program with an associate degree or equivalency of CRTT plus 2 years’ experience. • Must be a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner and hold an active RCP license in the state of Ohio • Must hold a CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care. • BLS Certification is required and must be obtained within 90 days of hire • ALCS, PALS and NRP training is preferred.
