Job Summary: To perform diversified duties in radiology, including preparation and positioning of patients, operation of x-ray equipment, order x-ray supplies and keep abreast of x-ray procedures and safety precautions and procedures in the x-ray area. Work in physician office drawing blood, assisting providers with patients, obtains vitals and medical history. Returns patient calls and provides information to patient at the direction of the provider. Provides front-office support duties including, but not limited to, obtaining referrals and pre-certifications, collecting co-pays/pre-payments, updating patient demographics, answering telephones and scheduling appointments.
Qualifications:

Two-year degree from an accredited radiology school program.

Must be registered by ARRT.

Ongoing participation in continuing education.

Must have good customer service skills.

Thorough knowledge of radiology testing procedures.

Considerable skill in performing various radiology procedures.

Considerable ability to accept new responsibilities as new equipment/examination is introduced into the department.

Current BLS certification required.
