Work Term #1

Update plant layouts of machines and equipment using CAD (MicroStation)

Write, design, and coordinate work requests to install/relocate equipment

Perform time studies and delay studies of machine cycles and operator stations

Participate in improvement projects focused on operator stations

Support projects focused on Lean Manufacturing Principles (typically Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Pull Systems/Kanban, Quick Changeover, physical mock-ups/simulations, and Standard Work)

Participate in ergonomic evaluations and improvements

Qualifications

Pursuing a BS in Industrial/Systems Engineering

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, autoCAD, powerBI)

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills .

Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
