RESPONSIBILITIES

I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible to the Senior Radiologic Technologist.

  • Performs a variety of radiologic procedures.

II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

A. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Seeing. Hearing. Speaking. Finger dexterity.

B. MANUAL MATERIAL HANDLING:

  • Infrequent: N/A

  • Occasional: N/A

  • Frequent: Lift floor to waist up to 50 lbs. Lift waist to shoulder up to 50 lbs. Lift waist to overhead up to 50 lbs.

  • Constant: Carry between 51+ lbs. Push and Pull between 51+ lbs.

C. NON-MANUAL MATERIAL HANDLING:

  • Infrequent: N/A

  • Occasional: N/A

  • Frequent: Stand. Walk. Stoop/Bend. Reach: shoulder level. Reach: above head. Gripping.

  • Constant: N/A

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Both inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme heat and cold (temperature and duration), noise and/or vibration, hazardous physical conditions, and atmospheric conditions which affect the respiratory system or skin.

  • Works on-call and rotating shifts as assigned, which may include holidays and weekends.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

  • Current Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist.

  • Current BLS certification.

B. EXPERIENCE:

  • One (1) year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care facility preferred.
