Full job description
Murrey’s Disposal is actively hiring a Residential Garbage Truck Driver with a valid Class A or B CDL to join our team in Fife, Washington.

Pay & Schedule

Competitive hourly wages starting at $35.00–$35.50/hr
-
Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays
-
45-hour work week with overtime opportunities
Key Responsibilities
-
Safely operate a residential garbage truck on designated routes
-
Read and follow route sheets or dispatcher instructions
-
Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
-
Load and unload waste materials—sometimes without assistance
-
Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift and dispose of refuse
-
Provide courteous customer service and complete other duties as assigned
Working Conditions
-
Physically demanding role—requires lifting over 50 lbs
-
Exposure to outdoor weather, fumes, vibration, and moderate noise
-
Must follow all safety protocols around moving mechanical parts
Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A or B CDL with air brake endorsement

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

High school diploma or GED preferred

At least 2 years of relevant driving experience

Basic knowledge of truck components for inspections
