About this position

Provides advanced life support care to the sick and injured and safely transports customers of all ages to a medical facility. In addition, the paramedic assists with other services and events as directed by North Memorial Ambulance Service.

Ambulance Services Wisconsin Region

$4,500 Sign-on Bonus

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus. Current team members or former team members employed by North Memorial Health, Maple Grove Health or Blaze Health in the last six (6) months are not eligible to receive a sign on bonus. Sign-on bonuses have a repayment commitment, and a prorated repayment is required if the commitment is not fulfilled

  • Successfully completed paramedic training program from an accredited institution required.

Experience

  • Previous ALS ambulance experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to organize, problem solve, make decisions during emergency situations and work independently.

  • Possess or quickly acquire knowledge of the street and highway system within the service area.

Licensure/Certification

  • Wisconsin Paramedic Certification or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire date.

  • American Heart Association ACLS and BLS Certification or American Red Cross ALS and BLS Certification upon hire or within 14 days.

  • Valid State Class D driver's license in the state of residency with an acceptable driving record.

  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross PALS Certification.

  • ICS-100, ICS-200 and ICS-700 or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire date.

Hours per two week pay period: 72

Benefit Eligibility: Health insurance benefits are available for this position. North Memorial Health offers multiple health plans based on work group eligibility.

Salary Range: Medical Transportation Paramedic Outstate ($30.90 - $42.75), based on experience

$4500 Sign-on Bonus

Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.

Employment Sponsorship: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
