Summary

You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT, AIR SYSTEMS INTEGRATION DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Duties

• You will be responsible for an entire project/program throughout the organization
• You will manages project/program requirements, objectives, and metrics; and resolves conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources.
• You will exercise discretion and judgment in determining whether to broaden or narrow the scope of projects.
• You will advise management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducts special studies, proposes options and alternatives, and represents the command.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12/13 grade level or pay band DS-05 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Demonstrating comprehensive expertise across the full lifecycle of air vehicle systems-from design and testing to in-service support-with a deep understanding of the air vehicle engineering and propulsion and power technical domains. (2) Showing the ability to clearly articulate and defend analyses and positions on technical or managerial issues, and to present these conclusions convincingly to naval programs and logistics leadership. (3) Managing cradle-to-grave product support and sustainment for complex systems. This experience must include executing continuous support functions across system, subsystem, and component levels to successfully field and maintain operational readiness. (4) Analyzing and resolving complex logistics, technical, or program issues. This experience must include identifying and analyzing systemic problems, weighing the accuracy of complex information, and evaluating alternative perspectives to formulate highly effective, timely recommendations. (5) Proving the ability to integrate logistics considerations directly into the systems engineering and design process.
