Full job description
Job Summary
RDSI has an opening for a senior Electronic Engineer in their North Kingstown, RI location. The successful candidate will provide technical support for submarine torpedo operation, hardware, and testing.
Responsibilities
-
Analyze, Design, and Develop PCB layouts to meet military standards and requirements for new and existing lighting products.

Provide technical support for the development of and improvement of torpedo technology, concepts and solutions.

Interface with Government and Navy representatives.
Requirements
Must have minimum experience with one or more of the following work areas:
-
Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated submarine and torpedo subject matter experience.

Able to read and comprehend wiring diagrams and schematics.
-
General knowledge of torpedo system operation, hardware and software.
-
Able to interact with high level fleet personnel.
-
Perform system integration tasks.
Qualifications
-
Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
-
Must be well versed in the use of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Excellent oral and written skills.
-
Must possess good interpersonal skills.
-
General knowledge of SSN and SSBN communication systems and operation.
