Full job description

Perform all required ground duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by crew leader.

Assist in the performance of specialized pruning and take-downs, installing cabling and bracing.

Safely operate equipment.

Participate in all job site safety briefings.

Perform proper felling, limbing and bucking techniques with a chainsaw.

Perform pruning from the ground with hand tools and pole saws, application of approved rigging techniques and knowledge of standard knots.

Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties.

Perform ground duties such as job site set up and clean up as required.
Requirements
-
Previous industry experience is desired, but willing to train right candidate.

Knowledge of pruning techniques including large shade trees and ornamentals.

Ability to operate chainsaw, chipper, stump grinder and log mover.

Knowledge of industry standard rigging techniques and knots
-
Knowledge of native and introduced tree and shrub species and characteristics of each species is desired.

Ability to lift 50lbs and occasionally 80-100lbs with assistance

Valid Driver's License, CDL preferred.

Bi-lingual is a plus

Hourly range $21 - $24.
