Full job description
Waste Connections is hiring for a Truck Washer / Yard Laborer at our facility in Olive Branch, MS!
As a Truck Washer / Yard Laborer , your primary responsibilities will include:

Washing and cleaning trucks, trailers, containers, and other company equipment to maintain a professional appearance.
-
Operating pressure washers, cleaning tools, and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
-
Inspecting vehicles for cleanliness and reporting any visible damage or maintenance concerns to management.
-
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe wash bay and yard area.
-
Assisting with general yard duties, including litter pickup, sweeping, and housekeeping.
-
Moving and staging vehicles within the yard as directed and in accordance with safety procedures.
-
Supporting basic preventative maintenance efforts by checking fluid levels and reporting equipment issues.
-
Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
What We Need From You:
-
One year of stable employment history in a labor, maintenance, or similar outdoor work environment preferred.
-
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
-
Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
-
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
-
Dependable work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver's license preferred.
