JACKSON WYOMING Warehouse Supervisor: Supervises warehousing activities for Sales Center by performing the following duties personally or through
subordinate supervisor(s).
Job Description
Primary Location:
Jackson, Wyoming
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESImplements operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of product and materials (includes outdated, damaged, and pilfered inventory).
Loads and unloads material onto or off skids, pallets or trucks with forklift and other lifting devices.
Confers with warehouse manager and department heads, when appropriate, to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control and purchasing.
Inventories route truck haul-backs and reconciles with ending load sheet.
Maintains warehouse inventory and floors in clean and orderly condition.
Empties trash containers.
Secures building by locking doors, turning off lights and activating alarm at the end of the night shift.
Participates in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.
Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Supervises 2 to 4 Subordinate employees.
