Vehicle Diagnostics Technician

DeVivo Companies is seeking a full-time Vehicle Diagnostics Technician for our New Britain, CT dealership. In this role, you will focus strictly on troubleshooting and triaging electrical and drivetrain issues for buses, trucks, and automobiles-allowing other technicians to handle the physical repairs.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Five years- experience in the field of automotive, truck and/or bus repair. Skills to sufficiently diagnose trucks, buses and general on-highway vehicles.

  • Cummins certification is preferred.

  • Computer skills.

  • Valid driver-s license. CDL is a plus.

  • Hold, or be willing to work toward, ASE certifications.

  • Possess adequate verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Possess the physical strength and conditioning to safely perform all required tasks.
